About NACCHO

The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation
(NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal
Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver
comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.

About the Role

The Graphic Designer will work within the Communications and Media
team, supporting graphic design requirements to produce culturally engaging and
appropriate designs across print and digital platforms. The role requires close
collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and
stakeholders across the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health
Organisation, including multiple program areas and projects, as well as
Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations nationwide.

Responsibilities of this role but not limited to:

  • Provide creative and innovative design guidance and recommendations to communications team and internal clients
  • Create branded templates and assets
  • Design and curate digital marketing content, including newsletters, brochures, and promotional emails
  • Assist in creating materials for publication, reports, campaigns and other communications across various media

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in graphic design or related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro).
  • Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft office Suite.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work within tight timeframes.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
