Department Overview
The Wildfire Operations (WO) organization plays a critical role in supporting PG&E’s stand that “Catastrophic Wildfires Shall Stop” and contains PG&E’s wildfire prevention and wildfire response programs. WO supports the wildfire related needs of customers, first responders, and internal clients before, during, and after wildfires. There are three teams in the WO organization:
The Wildfire Operations program is seeking acreative, self‑driven Graphic Design/Communications Intern to strengthen the team’s visual storytelling and communication. This intern will transform technical content into clear, compelling visual products that feature team activities, support situational awareness, reporting, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
This role is ideal for a student with a background in graphic design, multimedia communication, branding, UI/UX fundamentals, or related fields who enjoys designing clean, modern visuals with real‑world impact.
PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24.52 to $35.37
