A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
As the Graphic Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing creative design strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience. You will lead a team of designers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent visual representation across all marketing channels. Your expertise in graphic design, leadership skills, and strategic thinking will be instrumental in elevating our brand and driving business growth.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement creative design strategies aligned with our brand vision and marketing objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual elements and maintain brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing and events team to conceptualise and create visually compelling digital and print assets, including website graphics, social media content, email campaigns, advertisements, brochures, and signage.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of graphic designers, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional growth.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and workflow management.
- Manage third-party agencies/freelancers that support The Flexi Group brands in their digital applications for example: website, advertising etc.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting quality standards.
- Oversee the production of event graphics, including posters, banners, signage, digital displays, and other promotional materials. Both internal and external, to ensure accurate and high-quality output.
- Monitor and manage the team's workload, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and deadlines are met.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging creativity, professional growth, and a strong commitment to meeting stakeholder expectations.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of design performance metrics to optimize design strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain and organize a digital asset library, ensuring easy accessibility and availability of design files and resources.
- Stay updated with industry trends and design best practices, and incorporate them into our design processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design preferably with creative agency background
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects, including both digital and print media.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Strong conceptual and visual design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and provide constructive feedback.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensure high-quality design outputs.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
