King County is launching an ambitious effort to ensure that government delivers high-quality, efficient and equitable services to every resident. To support this work, we are seeking a collaborative, strategic, and knowledgeable Grants Manager.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in holding themself accountable for their work, and has a passion for serving our King County communities.
The Grants Team is one of several teams within the Budget section of the Executive Office. The team is responsible for deploying and administering more than $100 million in federally and locally funded grants that support community programs, projects, and services. Currently, the team consists of three Grant Managers and a Grants Section Manager who work closely together. The Grants Team strives to be a highly cohesive and collaborative group where every member steps in to support others, responds to high-priority needs, and works across the portfolio to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a Term-Limited Temporary position which is anticipated to last 18 months.
