The Grants Specialist supports the administration of sponsored research by coordinating the full lifecycle of grant awards from application submission through closeout. This position prepares and submits applications to federal funding agencies and research foundations; oversees award setup and maintenance; monitors and manages grant expenditures to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, Uniform Guidance, and institutional policies; assists in preparing required progress and financial reports; and facilitates timely and accurate award closeout. The Grants Specialist works closely with principal investigators, departmental staff, and central offices to ensure effective stewardship of sponsored funds.
