ABOUT PROGRAM
Higher Education for Innovation and Growth (HEIG) is a five-year U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE -funded Activity in Jordan. The goal of the Activity is that Jordanian higher education institutions will be able to provide quality, inclusive, student-centered, market-relevant education, and foster innovation for economic growth, through partnerships with industry.
Position Purpose Summary
Based in Amman, and under the guidance of the Subaward Grants and Contracts Manager, the Grants & Contracts Officer will oversee the activity’s grants and contracts management, and compliance support. S/he will also manage the day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with all IREX, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE, and USG requirements. In addition, under the guidance of his/her supervisor, s/he will monitor program budget, provide required reporting, and maintain financial records for all program activities. Performs additional duties and tasks to meet the needs of the organization, team, or as assigned by the supervisor.
