Do you want to join a committed, activist-driven organization and take meaningful action for social justice?
For over 40 years, Médecins du Monde has been delivering healthcare to the most vulnerable, challenging barriers to access, and driving long-term change in health policies.
In France and across nearly 30 countries, our work is built around six core missions:
MdM has been present in Lebanon for nearly 30 years, adapting its interventions to the country’s successive crises and evolving humanitarian and health needs. In a context marked by prolonged socioeconomic challenges, pressure on the health system and the consequences of the ongoing conflict, MdM works to ensure access to quality healthcare for vulnerable populations while supporting and strengthening the Lebanese health system.
MdM currently supports access to primary healthcare through partnerships with Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCCs) across the country and provides emergency health services, including through mobile medical activities in South Lebanon. Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) is a core component of MdM’s approach and is integrated across its health interventions. The mission also works on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence (GBV), and access to comprehensive and rights-based healthcare.
The Lebanon mission has a coordination team based in Beirut, with field teams supporting programme implementation in Beirut, South Lebanon and Baalbek-Hermel.
You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing grants management, donor compliance, resource mobilization, and partnership and donor engagement for MdM in Lebanon. In addition, you will be responsible for the mission's communication and will represent the mission in relevant forums.
Under the supervision of the general coordinator, your main responsibilities are the following:
You will work closely with the program officer at HQ, the Institutional Funding Unit, the technical referents, the support coordinators and the MEAL team, among others.
If shortlisted, you will first meet with our HR team, followed by a managerial interview during the month of October.

For more than 30 years, Médecins du Monde, a campaigning medical organisation committed to international solidarity, has been caring for the most vulnerable populations at home and abroad. It has continued to highlight obstacles that exist in accessing health care and has secured sustainable improvements in health-for-all policies. Those working for this independent organisation do not solely dispense care and treatment but condemn violations of human dignity and rights and fight to improve matters for populations living in precarious situations. MdM currently works in 40 countries across all continents where it focuses on 4 priority areas: caring for the health of migrants and displaced persons, promoting sexual and reproductive health, combating HIV and reducing the harm and risks associated with drug use, crises and conflicts.
