Job Summary

The Data Specialist for the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office assists the grant team in the collection and reporting of grant project data. This position is responsible for assisting both grant-funded and non-grant funded Assistant District Attorneys with the collection of data related to misdemeanor and felony cases in Tulsa County.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Organize and maintain large volumes of structured and unstructured data related to criminal cases, investigations, and judicial outcomes.
  • Track and report case data and outcomes as required by federal grants.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality through validation and verification processes.
  • Perform descriptive statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies for grant application purposes and ad hoc attorney needs.
  • Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including attorneys, law enforcement, and grant officials.
  • Prepare or request the preparation of descriptive intelligence reports, utilizing detailed charts and diagrams.
  • Work collaboratively with ADA’s, investigators, and the grant coordinator to provide data-driven support for grant purposes.
  • Make inquiries about intelligence information received by telephone and email; review, analyze and evaluate intelligence relating to criminal cases.
  • Interact with representatives of other law enforcement agencies to exchange information regarding criminals and crimes, utilizing personal contacts, telephone, or other media.
  • Maintain cross reference files of criminal and case information.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • Relevant work experience and/or education.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Office applications- Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point-beginner level.
  • Must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 2+ year’s relevant experience

SALARY: $40,000 annually plus full State of Oklahoma benefits
