The Grant Writer and Development Coordinator plays a key role in advancing UCHC’s fundraising and development goals. This in-person position is responsible for researching and writing compelling grant proposals, supporting the submission of funding requests, and coordinating donor communication and stewardship activities. The Coordinator is also responsible for tracking and, in collaboration with the Senior Manager, managing awarded grants, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and supporting campaign planning and donor engagement efforts. The Coordinator owns awarded grants from award through closeout, tracking and managing each grant, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements, and preparing and submitting grant reports. The Coordinator also supports campaign planning and donor engagement efforts.
This position will also serve as a member of the Development Committee once formally established. As such, occasional participation in board-related meetings, events, and community engagements outside of standard business hours may be expected.
