Base Salary Range: $32.00 - $36.00 Per Hour plus benefits
FTE Part-time 20-25 hours per week– Non – Exempt.

General Summary:
The Grant Writer role manages the full grants lifecycle, from prospect identification and proposal development to reporting, and works closely with program and Fiscal staff to gather information, align narratives with funder priorities, and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with keen attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine commitment to the organization’s work. For 40 years, South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) has played a major role in filling the void for comprehensive health services in the historically underserved and uninsured population of South Los Angeles. The services provided directly address healthcare issues prevalent among geographically and economically disadvantaged individuals and families.
Since its inception, SCFHC has been in the forefront committed to addressing healthcare disparities in a competent and linguistically appropriate manner. SCFHC has more than 230 staff members of which 30 are clinicians who provide the direct medical services, treatment and care to patients.
In 2002, SCFHC was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) 330 Clinic. Such qualifications require adhering to strict Government standards of providing quality comprehensive service delivery and detailed reporting directly to the Federal Government.
We have expanded service locations to the city of Huntington Park, Cudahy and opened a school based health centers at Jefferson High School (L.A.) and at the Elizabeth Learning Center (Cudahy) as well as improved our clinics to better serve our patients’ needs.
