Are you an experienced supervisor who has successfully managed large grant-funded programs?

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a Grant Program Supervisor to lead the implementation and daily operations of a federally funded integrated care initiative serving communities throughout Central Illinois.

This is not a traditional project management role. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can supervise staff, coordinate complex grant activities, monitor program performance, manage reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with federal grant expectations.

Working closely with clinical leadership, finance, quality improvement, data teams, and community partners, you'll help strengthen the integration of primary care and behavioral health services while supporting programs that improve the health and well-being of the individuals and communities we serve.

If you're organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about leading meaningful work that makes a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Lead a federally funded initiative that improves access to integrated healthcare.
  • Supervise and support a dedicated team working toward meaningful community outcomes.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, quality improvement, primary care, behavioral health, and community partners.
  • Use data, performance measures, and outcomes to strengthen services and improve programs.
  • Own projects from implementation through evaluation while helping shape the future of integrated healthcare.
  • Join a mission-driven organization where leadership, innovation, and collaboration are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Project Coordinator for the Promoting Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care (PIPBHC) grant program
  • Coordinate and oversee implementation, ongoing operations, and programmatic activities associated with the grant
  • Monitor compliance with grant deliverables, timelines, performance measures, and reporting requirements
  • Participate in required grant-related meetings, trainings, technical assistance sessions, and reporting activities
  • Provide supervision, training, guidance, and support to staff assigned to the PIPBHC program
  • Ensure timely collection, analysis, management, and submission of program data and required reports
  • Evaluate program outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement and sustainability
  • Collaborate with finance and leadership staff regarding grant expenditures, invoicing, and budget monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, grant, and payer requirements
  • Participate in organizational, regional, program, and interagency committees as assigned
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation requested by leadership
  • Attend meetings with clinical programs and supervisors to identify operational needs and process improvements
  • Promote Chestnut Health Systems’ Recovery Values and customer service standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational, employee, and client information
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational operations

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, public health, behavioral health, human services, or a related field
  • Minimum three years of experience supervising staff while managing large grant-funded, government-funded, or similarly regulated programs.
  • Experience managing grant deliverables, timelines, performance measures, reporting requirements, and compliance activities.
  • Experience collaborating with finance teams on grant budgets, expenditures, invoicing, or budget monitoring.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading cross-functional teams and meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Word, with intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and eligibility for agency vehicle insurance coverage.
  • Reliable internet access for remote work responsibilities, as applicable.

Preferred

  • Experience working in integrated healthcare, behavioral health, primary care, public health, or human services.
  • Experience with electronic health records, databases, dashboards, and online reporting systems.

Benefits

Chestnut offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth, including:
