Primary Duties and

Responsibilities: We are seeking a registered nurse to deliver direct patient care for the Flourish Mobile Health Clinic, 4-20 hours per week. This role provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to under-served populations affected by substance use disorders (SUD), homelessness, and limited access to healthcare in both urban and rural settings. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to collecting vitals and intake information, immunizations, wound care, harm reduction services, health education, and documentation support. The registered nurse will also help support inventory management on the unit, ensuring needed medical supply stock is communicated to the appropriate staff to ensure consistent, high quality care is provided. This position supports the clinic's interdisciplinary care model by coordinating with other healthcare professionals on the clinic, engaging in community outreach, and mentoring students from both nursing and other health disciplines.Primary position responsibilities:Deliver patient care through triage, screenings, immunizations, wound care, chronic disease management, and diagnostics while actively supporting providers and the care team. Work alongside team to facilitate referrals to medical and social services, ensure follow-up care, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records with accurate documentation for audits and reporting.Collaborate with faculty to supervise students to enhance clinical education and provide hands-on learning experiences and clinical experiences for students. Respond to emergency situations which includes mental health and physical health, such as crisis intervention.Engage and build relationships with community partners to decrease barriers to care for patients.Assist with monitoring and restocking medical supplies, medications, and harm reduction materials.The above statements describe the job’s essential responsibilities and requirements. • Able to quickly identify issues when working on the mobile unit with patients, faculty and students, to obtain relevant information, make decisions, relate and compare data from different sources, and identify alternative solutions if needed.
• Quickly interpret and seeks information on patients, using independent reasoning to diagnose the root cause of situations or issues, identifies and tests solutions and thinks beyond what is typical or customary. Required EducationVocational, technical training, or Associate's degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Must be Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or LPN in the state of TN.

Required ExperienceSome experience working with mental health, addition, and/or vulnerable population patients is required. 1-3 years experience is preferred.
