Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary/yearThis role oversees all Grand Format services, from Estimating to Shipping. The individual aligns the department with overall company objectives with emphasis on service, quality, employee development, productivity and profitability.
Job Duties
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each of the following duties satisfactorily:
· Provide leadership for Grand Format
o Estimating/Planning
o Prepress
o Outside purchases/Installations/Scheduling
o Printing/Finishing
o Packaging/Shipping
· Keep jobs on track with the production schedule
· Ensure timely communication is provided by team
· Manage personnel including:
o Assignment of daily duties
o Training and development
o Performance reviews and coaching
o Interviewing, hiring and termination
· Be knowledgeable and maintain, recommend and upgrade software/hardware systems:
§ Workflow automation
§ Prepress softwares
§ Rip strategy
§ Presses
§ Finishing systems
§ Color management
· Maintain appropriate inventory and materials levels. Keep accurate records.
· Provide training and technical support to Sales and clients
· Collaborate with other departments to gain efficiencies
· Recommend equipment and strategy for growing business
· Demonstrate leadership attributes while performing duties. Lead by example.
· Respond to questions and provide support to employees and outside departments in a professional manner.
Schedule
Monday – Friday 7am-4pm with overtime and weekends as needed.
Position Structure:
The Grand Format Manager reports directly to the Director of Digital Production.

Experience:
5 Yrs Management experience required. Must have experience managing Grand Format production. Other print manufacturing experience a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations and general trade periodicals. Also, you must have the ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from employees and management.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. The employee is required to sit, stand, kneel and crouch. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The individual must be motivated and will be responsible for the ongoing growth and improvement of the department.
