About the Graduate Nursing Role

We are excited to welcome Graduate Registered Nurses to our Auckland clinics. This role is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking hands-on clinical experience, structured mentorship, and career development in primary and urgent care. You will work alongside experienced nurses and doctors, gaining practical experience in patient assessments, acute care, culturally safe practice, and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Perform accurate nursing assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions under guidance, ensuring safe and culturally responsive care.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide high-quality care.

  • Learning and Development: Participate in structured mentorship, professional development programs, and training to build clinical confidence.

  • Assessment and Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, contribute to quality improvement, and educate patients and families about their care.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognised institution.

  • Registration: Current or pending registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council.

  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and organisational skills.

  • Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

  • Desirable: Awareness of ACC, primary healthcare systems, Tikanga Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. Experience with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution is an advantage but not essential.
