  • Support configuration management and ensure fleet configuration accuracy across platforms
  • Work closely with engineering leadership, maintenance teams, and operator representatives on technical and operational matters
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering Management System

You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple technical disciplines (e.g. structures, avionics, mechanical systems), gaining broad exposure early in your career.

About the role

This is a graduate-level position within our Engineering function, offering hands-on experience in a regulated Defence aviation environment.

  • Location: Brisbane or Canberra
  • Engineering & Technical Services (E&TS) team
  • Opportunities to participate in graduate program activities and rotational placements (where available)

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for early-career engineers with a strong interest in aviation, safety, and technical problem solving. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and an interest in working in a regulated engineering environment
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Interest in airworthiness, safety, configuration management, and certification concepts (desirable)
  • Exposure to aviation (civil or Defence) or engineering/technical documentation (desirable)
