Pay Rate: $13.00/hr

Same Duties as the Office Assistant position
• Friendly and personable: greet students and guests with excellent customer service, give directions, and answer questions.
• Office support: restock supplies, tidy up the office area, hang flyers, and provide some computer and phone assistance.
• Confidential: handle documents – mail, copying, scanning, and shredding.
• Dependable: maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Campus-traveler: retrieve or distribute mail or other items around campus.
• Event services: assist with preparation, setup, and cleanup for lunches, ceremonies, and meetings.
• Ability to comply with University policies.
• DUE TO THE CONFIDENTIAL NATURE OF THIS POSITION, STUDENTS TAKING COMPUTER SCIENCE (CSI), COMPUTER SCIENCE FELLOWS (CSF), CYBERSECURITY (CYB), BIOINFORMATICS (BINF), OR DATA SCIENCE (DSC) COURSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE.

The Senior Office Assistant will also do the following weekly:
• Review CS classrooms for cleanliness and supplies.
• Review department and graduate student kitchens for cleanliness and supplies.
• Review duties assigned to undergraduate student workers for correct completion.
• Train and coach undergraduate student workers on various tasks as needed.
• As able, work shifts for undergraduate student workers who cannot report to duty.

Each Month:
• Twice a month, order supplies through the Ignite program. Ensure items are received and delivered to correct location.
• Once a month, visit with each undergraduate student worker regarding needs or concerns about their role or work duties.
• Each month, help the Office Manager or the Graduate Program Coordinator with special projects.
