Pay Rate: $16/hour
The Graduate Intern for Well-Being Initiatives will support the planning, implementation, and assessment of programs designed to promote student wellness at Baylor University. This role will focus on fostering a campus culture of holistic well-being through educational initiatives, outreach efforts, and engagement opportunities for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and coordinating wellness programs, workshops, and events for the student body.
- Support the Peer Health Educators and Well-Being Ambassador program, including training, communication, and scheduling.
- Help create and distribute educational materials on mental health, substance use prevention, stress management, and other well-being topics.
- Manage communication channels (email, group chats, social media) to engage students and share resources.
- Collect and analyze participation data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with campus partners to enhance outreach and student engagement in wellness initiatives.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, maintaining records, and preparing reports.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Public Health graduate program at Baylor.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for student development, wellness education, and promoting a healthy campus culture.
- Experience in event planning, peer education, or student leadership is preferred.
