We are seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join our team. This is a site-based role, working across project sites in and around Melbourne, so travel between sites will be required.

About the Role  

Your initial responsibilities will include:  

• Supporting the development and administration of a document control system for QA requirements.
• Assisting in creating QA documentation such as ITPs and checklists, and helping coordinate hold point inspections.
• Helping coordinate geotechnical and geosynthetic testing with the project team.
• Completing daily site diaries and monitoring daily costs and production figures.
• Helping keep permits, drawings and specifications up to date and distributed to the team.
• Assisting with GPS surveying, set-out and updating CAD files (training provided).
• Helping check supplier and subcontractor invoices, and assisting with monthly claims and variations.
• Contributing to work planning, including two-week look-ahead resource schedules.
• Taking part in site safety and environmental inspections, and helping prepare SWMS.
• Attending project meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions.
• Promoting Goldsmith's values and culture within the project team.

About you  

To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:  

• A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid working rights in Australia 
• References
