Applications for 2027 Graduate Nurse position:

Yarrawonga Health Graduate Nurse Program participates in the Central Hume Graduate Nurse Program (CHGNP) in collaboration with Benalla Health, Northeast Health Wangaratta, Mansfield District Hospital, Tallangatta Health and Cooinda Village.

The CHGNP offers an ongoing professional development program aimed at assisting early graduates to transition to the workplace with regular professional development days targeting the core goals of the program and where all CHGNP graduates meet as a group.

Application Instructions:

Please provide the following with your application:

1. Letter of application

2. CV – including clinical placement history and two professional/clinical referees (please include work email addresses)

3. Certified copy of academic transcripts with results legend

4. A Passport sized photo

5. Two most recent ACUTE (not aged care) clinical placement reports

6. Current Police check, WWCC & immunisation history to be provided prior to employment if successful in your application.

In addition to the PMCV Allocation and Placement Service Interview, Yarrawonga Health will also be holding face-to-face group interviews with our Collaborative - Central Hume Graduate Nurse Program on August 12th & 19th 2026 in Wangaratta.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
