Position: Graduate Registered Nurse (Mid-Year Intake)

Location: Across NCN Health

EFT/Hours: 0.8 EFT (64 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status: 12 months Fixed Term, Part Time

Hourly Rate: $42.6053 - $43.8158 plus 12% superannuation

About the Role

NCN Health has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified nurses to transition from student to Registered Nurse in a supportive clinical environment. You will work alongside experienced nurses and healthcare professionals while developing your clinical skills, confidence, and professional practice. The rotations within the hospital will allow you to experience a wide range of clinical environments.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory).
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended).
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent completed in the last 12 months of job application.
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing educational and professional development across all levels of the nursing profession including management.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
