Every day, millions of payments take place in just a few seconds. A card is tapped, a phone is scanned, an online checkout is completed. From the outside, it feels simple. Behind each of these moments, however, sits one of the most sophisticated digital infrastructures in the modern economy.

At Nexi Italy, we build and run the technology that makes these everyday payment moments possible. Our systems process billions of Euros in payments every year and support hundreds of thousands of merchants across the country. Whether someone pays in a café in Milan, a hotel in Rome, or an online shop, there is a good chance our products are part of that journey.

Through our Graduate Program, you will begin your career in an international environment operating across more than 25 countries, gaining exposure to how digital payment solutions are built, delivered, and continuously improved.

About the Program

The Graduate Program is designed to give you a strong foundation and broad understanding of our business, while preparing you for a long‑term role within Nexi.

As the program progresses, you will move towards a landing position in the Product department, where you will join a product team working on solutions used by real merchants and customers every day. Product teams play a key role in translating complex payment infrastructure into reliable, user‑friendly solutions that support businesses across Italy.

In your landing role, you will contribute to improving payment flows, analysing product performance and customer needs, and supporting the development of new features and enhancements. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to help evolve Nexi’s payment solutions.

What You Can Expect

• Career Path: You will start with a permanent contract from day one. Over 12 months, you will complete two rotations across departments before transitioning into a landing role in the Product department, where you can continue to grow.
• Training & Development: You will take part in a structured project management training program designed to strengthen your ability to contribute to initiatives and deliver results. You will also have access to a wide range of learning opportunities through our Digital PayTech University to continuously build your skills and knowledge.
• Impact & Collaboration: You will work in a collaborative, international environment and contribute to real business challenges, while building connections with colleagues and senior leaders across Europe.

Who We’re Looking For

• You have graduated within the past 12 months or will graduate in 2026, ideally with a master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or another field relevant to product development
• You are a career starter with no more than one year of professional experience.
• You are curious and analytical, with an interest in how digital products are developed and improved.
• You enjoy working with data, understanding customer needs, and collaborating across teams.
• You are based in Italy and fluent in English and Italian.
• You bring international exposure through studies, work abroad, or collaboration in a global environment.
• You are available to work full‑time and can start within the next three months.
• You have the legal right to work in Italy (e.g. residency or visa).
