POSITION SPECIFICS
The Pennsylvania State University, Department ofEcosystem Science and Managementisseekinga detail-oriented and organized individual to provide administrative and professional support as a Graduate Program Coordinator This role coordinates all aspects of the graduate program, from prospective student support to graduation certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for current and prospective graduate students
Coordinate recruitment, including inquiries, campus visits, and orientation
Monitor student progress, schedule exams and defenses, and manage Graduate School paperwork
Update systems including GRADS andmaintainstudent databases
Process graduate appointments, offer letters, and terminations
Schedule graduate courses andassiststudents with course planning
Provide administrative support to the Graduate Program Director
Maintain listservs and department forms
Required Qualifications:
Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Zoom.
Familiarity withLionPATH, GRADS, GRATS, GRMS,andWorkday.
Additional Information:
Afteran initialtraining period of 6 months, a hybrid work schedule may be approved by the supervisor
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)
2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $38,300.00 - $55,500.00.
