Energy is changing fast—and so are we. There’s never been a bigger opportunity to build a cleaner future with Endeavour Energy.
More than 2.7 million people across New South Wales count on us every day for safe, reliable—and increasingly sustainable—power. With 1,700+ employees across our network, we’re one of the largest employers in Sydney’s Greater West, and one of Australia’s fastest‑growing energy organisations.
We’re building the network of the future—connecting 20,000+ new customers each year, powering major growth like the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, and accelerating decarbonisation for our communities. From smarter connections to customer energy solutions, we’re making it easier for households and businesses to electrify and cut emissions. When we power together, we go further, faster.
The Endeavour Energy Graduate Program is a structured, two‑year development pathway designed to transition high‑potential graduates into industry‑ready professionals.
Starting on 1 February 2027, graduates will complete 3–6-month rotations across multiple technical and corporate areas of the business, gaining hands‑on experience, coaching, and exposure to real projects that shape the future of our electricity network.
The program combines on‑the‑job learning, formal development, and mentoring to build capability, confidence, and long‑term career pathways within Endeavour Energy.
Want a snapshot of what’s ahead? Example rotations could include:
Future Grid
Help trial and scale new technologies that make the grid smarter and more flexible. You’ll work across EV charging, community batteries, solar and smart‑meter analytics—turning data and stakeholder insights into practical outcomes such as refining flexible EV‑charging concepts, analysing battery and substation data, and generating smart‑meter insights that shape new customer products and smarter network planning.
Asset Management
Help optimise how we maintain and renew Endeavour Energy’s asset fleet, so the network stays safe, reliable and cost‑effective as it grows. You’ll work with asset and risk data to automate risk‑quantification models, support defect prioritisation, and improve data workflows that inform investment and maintenance decisions.
Sustainability
Measure and communicate the impact of Endeavour Energy’s sustainability programs for customers and communities. You’ll quantify carbon avoidance across energy‑transition and climate initiatives and translate it into clear, customer‑ready reporting—building a defensible carbon‑avoidance estimate we can stand behind.
Future Energy Planning
Help plan how the network evolves through the energy transition. You’ll improve forecasts and connection studies, test growth and electrification scenarios (solar, EVs, batteries and new industrial load), and help build evidence‑based business cases for when and where the network needs to grow.
Secondary Systems
Design and deliver protection and automation schemes that detect faults quickly and keep the network operating safely. You’ll support the Protection Delivery team by developing protection settings, conducting operational checks for field work, and reviewing generator connection applications—while also streamlining team processes through modelling and automation.

At Endeavour Energy, diversity and inclusion make us better, safer, and stronger. We embrace a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and valued.
As a critical infrastructure organisation, Endeavour Energy conducts background checks to ensure the security and protection of its people, customers, and assets.

Endeavour Energy is a safety focused and customer-centred business determined to be the best performing network in Australia.
Our people take great pride in being of service to our communities by efficiently distributing electricity to our customers in a way that is safe, reliable and sustainable.
We manage a $6.2 billion electricity distribution network serving more than a million connected customers, or 2.4 million people, living and working across 24,800 square kilometres in Sydney’s Greater West, the Blue Mountains, the Southern Highlands, Illawarra and the South Coast of NSW.
Our network powers Australia’s third largest economy, and includes Sydney’s North West and South West Priority Growth Centres, established in 2005 to house 500,000 new residents over 30 years in suburbs similar in size to Wollongong and Canberra.
The region is also home to Sydney’s proposed second airport.
We’re owned by an Australian-led consortium of institutional investors with world class experience in investing and managing regulated utilities across the globe.
The consortium has a clear objective to create long-term value by efficiently investing in Endeavour Energy’s assets to improve safety and customer outcomes.
The consortium acquired 50.4% ownership of the rights to manage Endeavour Energy’s network assets under a 99 year lease in June 2017. It’s led by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), and includes AMP Capital, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and Qatar Investment Authority.
The NSW Government retains a 49.6% interest and continues to licence safety and reliability.
