About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Product Design Engineer to join our ITW Building Solutions team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Product Design Engineer, this hybrid role is based in Dandenong South, Victoria.

What You'll Do

As our Graduate Product Design Engineer, you will:

• Support product development through CAD drafting, design updates and technical documentation using SolidWorks.
• Conduct product testing, validation and competitor benchmarking to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with product specifications, technical reporting, quality investigations and compliance activities relating to Australian and ISO standards.
• Contribute to value engineering and product improvement projects focused on performance, innovation and cost optimisation.

What You'll Bring

• Completed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Product Design Engineering.
• Graduate or early-career engineer
• Foundational SolidWorks 3D CAD capability.
• Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
• Analytical problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn.
• A collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
