About the role

Our 2026 AusPac Graduate Program is designed to give you real responsibility, real learning and a clear pathway into a long term career at Orica.
Commencing in May 2026, this two year program includes two 12 month rotations across our Procurement organisation, followed by placement into a permanent role within the business.

Your Role as a Graduate

As part of the 2026 Graduate Program, we’re looking for a motivated Graduate – Procurement & Sourcing to join our Supply Chain team in Brisbane.

This role is an opportunity to build a strong foundation in commercial decision making, sourcing and supplier management within a complex, global industrial environment.

You’ll begin by supporting indirect procurement categories such as Professional Services, Facilities Management and Travel, before progressively gaining exposure to direct procurement, including the sourcing of critical raw materials that support Orica’s operations.

Throughout the program, you’ll be supported by experienced procurement professionals and take part in structured learning, on the job development and graduate program activities.

What you will be doing

  • Support end to end sourcing activities, including RFx preparation, evaluation support and documentation;
  • Assist with contract administration, compliance checks and commerical governance;
  • Participate in supplier meetings and commercial discussions alongside senior team members;
  • Support supplier performance monitoring, reporting and issue tracking;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into sourcing outcomes;
  • Contribute to data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Progressively gain exposure to direct procurement, including raw materials sourcing, market analysis and supplier engagement.

What you will bring

Nice to have:

• Exposure to procurement or commercial environments through internships, part time work or university projects
• Experience using data or business systems such as Power BI or the MS Office suite.
