The Oral History Processing Assistant will provide support to the “Making Waves,” portion of the Tulane History Project (TUHP), a long-term effort to research and develop a detailed history of the University and its campuses, with respect to its racial history and founding, including the impacts from segregation and slavery. The oral history project began interviewing narrators in the Fall of 2025, to record first-hand experiences about the history of Tulane University. The successful candidate will help process oral history interviews by editing them through Adobe Premiere Pro, transcribing and captioning them, as well as organize the collection and its metadata with supervision and assistance from the Tulane University Library’s Digital Scholarship staff.
