The Graduate Program Manager provides operational leadership for the School of Nursing's graduate programs by planning, coordinating, implementing, and continuously improving the administrative infrastructure that supports students, faculty, and program leadership. The position is responsible for ensuring efficient, effective, and student-centered operations across all graduate nursing programs throughout the student lifecycle, including recruitment, admissions, enrollment, records management, academic scheduling, clinical education support, student progression, communications, graduate program events, accreditation support, data reporting, and continuous quality improvement.

Working collaboratively with the Graduate Program Director and Program Coordinators, Associate Dean, faculty, university offices, clinical partners, and external stakeholders, the Program Admissions and Records Specialist serves as the primary operational leader for graduate nursing programs and is responsible for ensuring that administrative processes support student success, regulatory compliance, accreditation, and achievement of the School of Nursing's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership for the administration of graduate nursing programs, ensuring efficient, high-quality operations that support students, faculty, and strategic priorities. Coordinate admissions, enrollment, orientation, student progression, graduation, and academic processes while serving as the primary administrative resource for prospective and current graduate students.

Coordinate course scheduling, faculty assignments, academic calendars, curriculum implementation, clinical education administration, faculty onboarding, promotion and tenure processes, and daily graduate program office operations. Maintain program handbooks, policies, operational procedures, records, and documentation.

Maintain accurate student records, databases, and reporting systems while ensuring compliance with university, accreditation, regulatory, licensure, and confidentiality requirements. Collect, analyze, and report data supporting accreditation, assessment, continuous quality improvement, enrollment management, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Coordinate graduate program events, intensives, orientations, recruitment activities, commencement, advisory board meetings, faculty development programs, communications, marketing, websites, social media, and faculty, student, and guest travel.

Assist with budget planning, purchasing, resource allocation, financial transactions, inventory management, and operational forecasting.

Serve as a strategic operational partner to graduate program leadership by coordinating projects, implementing new programs and initiatives, improving administrative processes, preparing reports and executive communications, supporting accreditation and program review activities, monitoring operational performance, fostering collaborative relationships across the university and with external partners, exercising independent judgment in resolving operational issues, and performing other duties in support of the School of Nursing's mission and strategic priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

-Master's degree from an accredited institution.
-At least three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in higher education, healthcare administration, or a related field.
-Demonstrated experience coordinating complex administrative operations involving multiple priorities and stakeholders.
-Demonstrated ability to independently organize work, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and establish priorities.
-Experience managing databases, records, and information systems.
-Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise information systems.
-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in graduate education.
-Experience in nursing or other health professions education.
-Experience supporting accreditation, assessment, or continuous quality improvement initiatives.
-Experience with admissions, enrollment management, and student services.
-Experience planning and coordinating conferences, educational events, residencies, or academic intensives.
-Experience supervising employees or leading cross-functional project teams.
-Experience with student information systems, learning management systems, and reporting software.
-Knowledge of graduate nursing education, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.


Additional Information

will be given to applications received on or before September 13, 2026. Salary will be between $66,000 and $70,000 per year,
commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include comprehensive
