About the Program
During Yancoal Australia’s two-year Graduate Program, Mining Engineering graduates will embark on a dynamic journey of professional development and hands-on learning.
You’ll start with a structured onboarding experience, gaining insight into our values, operations, and strong safety culture. From there, you’ll rotate across key areas of the business — including exploration, mine planning, operations, and environmental management — building a well-rounded understanding of the mining lifecycle.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to real projects, solve practical challenges, and apply your academic knowledge in real-world settings. You’ll also gain exposure to modern technologies and innovative practices that support continuous improvement across our operations.
Along the way, you’ll be supported through structured training, workshops, and mentorship opportunities designed to accelerate your development.
