
The GME Coordinator will provide oversight of medical student rotations within ARH facilities while also providing
administrative support in the GME office.
Assist with the development of GME medical student policies and procedures
· Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
· Assist with medical school affiliation agreements
· Establish relationships with medical schools
· Provide administrative support to medical student coordinators
· Act as a liaison between medical students and administration when necessary
· Provide oversight of medical student rotations within ARH facilities
· Maintain medical student database
· Coordinates observerships within ARH
· Manages the evaluation process of medical students
· Ensures medical student preceptor compliance
· May assist with the coordination of student activities and rotations
· Performs other duties as assigned by the GME office
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Minimum Work Experience
A minimum of one year of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to organize information. · Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality. · Working knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. · Ability to make decisions independently or to escalate issues as needed. · Attention to detail · Ability to meet deadlines
