An established manufacturing and engineering company is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Kilkenny. The company delivers complex fabrication and engineering solutions across industrial and regulated environments. The successful candidate will bring a strong academic background and early industry experience, with an interest in food and beverage, automation and process systems.
This role offers hands-on exposure across design, production and site activities, supporting project delivery from concept through to installation.
Responsibilities
• Support the delivery of mechanical engineering projects from design through to installation and commissioning
• Assist with the review of engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Work closely with design, production and automation teams to support project execution
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across fabrication and installation activities
• Support site teams during installations, testing and commissioning phases
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, reports and technical records
• Identify issues early and work with senior engineers to resolve them
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety and quality standards
• Engage with internal teams and clients to support project coordination
Requirements
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Exposure to food and beverage, process or automation environments preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Full clean driving licence
