This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates to build hands-on manufacturing engineering capability through exposure to prototype builds, process trials, validation, documentation, troubleshooting, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities under structured guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, routing, work instructions, and controlled documentation

  • Assist in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including prototype builds, process trials, testing, data collection, validation, and production handover

  • Help troubleshoot basic manufacturing, process, equipment, and technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers and technicians

  • Support the creation and maintenance of work instructions, SOPs, process flows, build records, validation records, and process documentation

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives focusing on quality, yield, efficiency, cost reduction, cycle time, safety, and line readiness

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Quality, GMP, regulatory, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards during trials and production support activities

  • Support process validation activities through protocol preparation, trial execution, data entry, evidence collection, and documentation follow-up

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Product Development, Engineering, and Supply Chain to close assigned NPI actions

  • Learn and apply engineering principles, data analysis, structured problem-solving, and risk-based thinking in a practical manufacturing environment

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related field)

  • Strong fundamental engineering knowledge with interest in manufacturing systems, process development, tooling, automation, and NPI execution

  • Good analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills with willingness to use structured engineering methods

  • Strong communication, teamwork, documentation, and follow-up abilities

  • Willingness to learn, take guidance, adapt quickly, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing and NPI environment

Preferred

  • Internship, industrial training, capstone project, or academic project experience in manufacturing, process engineering, product development, or testing

  • Exposure to manufacturing processes, CAD tools, prototyping, data analysis, measurement systems, or process documentation work

Note: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior working experience is not required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Learning agility, curiosity, and adaptability in technical and cross-functional environments

  • Attention to detail with a quality-focused, safety-conscious, and documentation-disciplined mindset

  • Basic technical, analytical, data handling, and problem-solving skills

  • Collaboration and teamwork with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Development, technicians, and senior engineers

  • Initiative, accountability, willingness to take guidance, and commitment to developing NPI engineering capability.
