We’re looking for talented recent graduates who care about emerging markets and Africa to join our Operations (Customer Service) teams.

Our Graduate Management Trainee Programme is hands-on and suits people who are curious and learn fast. If you want both depth and breadth of experience in a fast-paced company, and a strong start to a career you’ll be proud of, this programme is for you.

About the programme

Over two years, you’ll combine on-the-job learning and mentoring . You’ll lead real projects from day one and build your skills in the Jumia Skill Set: Ownership & Drive, Execution & Impact, and Leadership & Management. By the end, you’ll understand Jumia’s operations well and be ready for a range of career paths in the company.

What you’ll do

Start your career as the voice and champion of millions of consumers and top partner brands like Samsung, Tecno, Infinix, Delron, Bruhm, Hikers, Nivea, Unilever, Oraimo, and Nasco. You’ll shape the customer journey, resolve complex challenges, and ensure every interaction across Jumia Ghana is effortless, positive, and reliable.

  • Dive into frontline customer experience from day one—gaining hands-on exposure to contact center operations, quality assurance, issue escalation, and voice-of-customer (VoC) analytics.
  • Monitor and enhance key customer experience benchmarks, focusing on first-contact resolution (FCR), customer satisfaction (CSAT), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and response speed.
  • Analyze customer feedback, complaint trends, and return reasons to identify systemic friction points across the end-to-end purchasing journey.
  • Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Tech teams to fix process bottlenecks and permanently eliminate recurring customer pain points.
  • Own customer experience improvement projects that simplify operational workflows, backed by a structured mentorship framework.
  • Expand your leadership and problem-solving capabilities through interactive training sessions, direct coaching, and our supportive graduate network.

Contract conditions

  • Two-year fixed-term contract, giving you stability from the start of your career
  • Intern allowance: an above-average intern allowance package for the full two years

Who we’re looking for

  • A first degree from a recognised, accredited university, graduated in 2025
  • National Service fully completed, with your NSS Certificate or Release Letter as proof
  • At least 3 months of relevant internship experience, ideally in sales, retail, FMCG or account management
  • A commercial mindset and confidence negotiating and building relationships
  • Comfort working with numbers and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork, and fluent English
  • Willingness to relocate during the programme
  • Curiosity, adaptability and self-motivation, plus integrity, respect for others and a desire to learn every day
