The opportunity

The Graduate position is open to recent university graduates and is structured to provide great exposure across the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Division of Central Highlands Water.

As a Graduate, you’ll be supported with mentoring and training while completing up to 4–6 rotations across a range of business areas. Rotations will be flexible and shaped by development opportunities, business priorities and key projects.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Completion, or near completion of final year in a degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar qualification preferred.
  • Project Management skills and understanding of how to deliver projects on time and budget.
  • The position occupant will need to exhibit skills particularly in the following areas:
  • Willingness to learn and motivation to succeed.
  • Good organisational, time management and teamwork skills.
  • A high degree of competency in both oral and written communication, particularly in preparation of reports.
  • Project Management fundamentals.
  • The ability to select and exercise an appropriate range of analytical, problem solving and investigative skills/techniques.
  • The ability to negotiate and consult with a wide range of project stakeholders.
