Our Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Training (HSEQT) team plays a key role in supporting our people and projects. You’ll work with skilled people wo care about doing things the right way and contributing to our teams’ success.

About the Role

Macmahon is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate HSE to join our Underground HSEQT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop their career in health, safety, environmental and quality systems within a leading mining organisation.

Working closely with experienced HSEQ professionals, you will gain exposure to management systems, assurance activities, risk management, auditing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across our Australian and international operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of Macmahon's HSEQ Management System.
• Assist with system assurance activities, audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Contribute to maintaining Macmahon's ISO-certified management systems.
• Support the collection, analysis and reporting of HSEQ performance data and trends.
• Assist in the development, review and maintenance of HSEQ procedures, standards and documentation.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to promote compliance and continuous improvement.
• Participate in incident investigations, risk assessments and assurance activities as required.
• Provide administrative and project support to the Corporate HSEQ team.

What You’ll Bring

• A recent tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in developing a career within the mining and resources sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Location: Macmahon Head Office – Perth (Near T2)
• Roster: Monday to Friday
