Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET)

Department -GP – Engineering PLM Team
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineering Trainees (GETs) to join our team. This role is designed for recent engineering graduates who are eager to build a career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to real-world projects across engineering functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support engineering teams in design, development, customization, testing, and implementation of projects
Provide operations and production support for PLM applications (e.g., Windchill), including issue monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution
Assist in PLM system testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Work on incident management, root cause analysis, and ticket resolution in coordination with support teams
Validate system changes, enhancements, and bug fixes before deployment
Participate in development and customization of PLM solutions, including configurations, workflows, integrations, and minor enhancements as per business requirements
Support code/configuration changes, deployment activities, and version control practices under guidance
Identify repetitive manual processes and proactively propose and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors
Support development of scripts, tools, or workflows for process automation
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, IT, and Quality
Assist in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving activities
Document processes, workflows, technical specifications, and test cases
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for PLM processes and system performance
Learn and apply tools, technologies, and standards relevant to the domain (e.g., PLM tools, CAD, ERP, testing frameworks, development tools)
Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and data governance practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical / Computer Science / IT or related field
