Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NOC L1 Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecommunications, basic hands-on experience in KPI monitoring and incident management, and the willingness to work in a 24×7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and service KPIs on a real-time basis.
  • Identify, analyze, and report network alarms, alerts, and performance issues.
  • Create, log, and manage incidents/tickets in accordance with defined SLAs.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams as per escalation matrix and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and, where required, external vendors for issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders during incidents.
  • Adhere to shift schedules and support 24×7 NOC operations.

Job Requirements

  • Educational background in telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in NOC, Network Monitoring, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience in KPI monitoring and incident creation/management.
  • Basic understanding of telecom networks and concepts.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems is an advantage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
