About the Role

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Brunswick-based team.

Working closely with experienced Engineers, Project Managers, and Service Teams, you'll play an important role in supporting the design, delivery, and ongoing optimisation of industrial refrigeration solutions for leading Australian businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with engineering calculations and refrigeration system design.
  • Support the preparation of estimates, tenders, and project proposals.
  • Evaluate existing refrigeration systems and identify improvement opportunities for clients.
  • Participate in project management activities, including procurement, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and project administration.
  • Assist with cost control and successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to risk assessments, safety planning, and compliance activities.
  • Develop knowledge of Australian and international engineering standards and ensure adherence across projects.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and other drafting tools.
  • Conduct site inspections, engineering audits, and technical assessments.
  • Prepare clear and professional client reports.
  • Support commissioning activities for new refrigeration installations.
  • Collaborate with the Service team to deliver technical support and engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and project management processes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate who is eager to learn, technically curious, and excited by the opportunity to work in a specialised and highly regarded engineering sector.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Full working rights within Australia

Desirable

  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Exposure to refrigeration, energy, manufacturing, or process industries
  • Previous engineering internship or industry placement experience
