Under direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, use engineering knowledge to perform routine engineering projects/assignments requiring limited judgment within the defined methods, procedures, and practices for the application of standards and criteria necessary to fulfill the experience requirement for pursuant of a licensure as a professional engineer.

This position will support the Sand Hill Energy Center. This position will be part of the engineering support team within Sand Hill Energy Center providing engineering support, and technical support. This position will collaborate with Energy Market Operations, run small technical projects and writing scopes of work, and work with Operations to review and report monthly GADs data.
This position is essential to the City of Austin and may require weekends and overnight hours.

Pay Range: Based experience and current City of Austin approved pay rates/ranges.
Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
