THE OPPORTUNITY

Kick-start your engineering career with Ampcontrol through our two-year Graduate Engineer Rotation Program.

We are seeking two Graduate Engineers to join our Engineering team and gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects and disciplines. Based at our facilities in the Newcastle Region, this program has been designed to provide exposure to the full engineering lifecycle - from research and development and product design through to field service and customer solutions.

This opportunity is ideal for graduates who are curious, adaptable and excited by the opportunity to work across a variety of engineering challenges while developing their technical capability in a supportive and innovative environment.

As part of the Graduate Program, you will:

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for graduates who are passionate about engineering, enjoy solving problems and are motivated to make a difference.

You will ideally have:

• Completed, or be in your penultimate or final year of, a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics or Renewable Energy Engineering highly regarded)
• A desire to apply engineering theory to real-world industrial challenges
• An interest in seeing your designs and ideas become tangible products and solutions
• An interest in areas such as product development, power systems, automation, integration and control systems
• A curiosity to understand how systems work and how they can be improved
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle complex challenges
• The resilience to learn from setbacks and keep moving forward
• The ability to make decisions, adapt and remain focused in a changing environment
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to be part of a team
