Job Description

Long-established and growing company specialising in the design and manufacture of power earthing and lightning protection equipment requires a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their busy design team. The team design electrical systems for clients in a range of areas, such as telecoms, renewables and high voltage (HV).

Applications are sought from those who have recently (or are about to) graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related subject. Full training will be provided in areas including lightning protection and earth electrode systems.

Responsibilities:

• Produce design reports
• Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD and CDEGS
• Carry out site surveys and subsequently produce relevant drawings
• Ensure adherence to health and safety and CDM regulations
• Comply with company policies

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Driving licence
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Excellent communication skills
