Job Description

The Opportunity:

As part of the Gold Fields Graduate Program, you will complete rotations across four sites over a two-year period, including Agnew, Granny Smith, Gruyere, St Ives, and (where relevant) the Perth office. Throughout the program, you’ll work alongside members of our highly experienced technical team, gaining hands-on exposure to the gold mining environment. You’ll develop and demonstrate a set of core competencies, ensuring well-rounded capability across all key areas. This program offers genuine, real-world mining experience and the opportunity to see how your foundational university studies translate into practice.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Completed your Tertiary Qualification in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or similar by end 2026.
• Vacation experience in a mining environment is ideal, but not essential.

About the Role

• Strengthen the Asset Optimisation capability in advanced operational analytics to embed data driven decision making across our assets,
• Provide analytical support to operational leaders by assisting with the identification and removal of constraints, and,
• Progressively develop predictive and prescriptive models to improve asset performance.
