Graduate Civil Engineer (Tailings)

We are looking for motivated Civil or Geotechnical Engineering graduates who want to kick start their Consulting career in a thriving Tailings team based in Brisbane. You will be provided with excellent opportunities to work on challenging projects, alongside more senior consultants to deliver high quality technical work for various clients.

As a Graduate Civil / Geotechnical Engineer with SRK Australia, you will be supported and guided by technically talented engineers, both locally and globally. Your mentors will assist you in developing your skills, gradually building your network, and achieving your career goals.

Applicants with previous experience in tailings will be looked upon favourably.

Our successful candidate will:

• Hold a recent (within the last 3 years) tertiary qualification in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an Australian University, or be expecting to graduate in 2025 – essential.
• Be able to demonstrate a strong interest in Tailings, or Mine Waste Management.
• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Based in Brisbane for the commencement of this role. Relocation is not available for this opportunity.
• Have the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Be able to undertake site visits and conduct geotechnical campaigns
• Have excellent communication skills and language fluency in English (both written and verbal).
