Are you a driven graduate passionate about ethics, governance, and regulatory compliance within a global energy environment?

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a Graduate Compliance Analyst/Counsel to support the implementation and continuous improvement of its Compliance Programme. This role provides strong exposure to anti-corruption frameworks, due diligence processes, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated upstream environment. It is an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in compliance, legal, and risk management.

Activities

Your Impact

As a Graduate Compliance Analyst/Counsel, you will:

  • Support the implementation of the Company’s Compliance Programme, including awareness initiatives, training sessions, and integrity communications.
  • Assist in the deployment and monitoring of company rules, procedures, and compliance directives to ensure effective application across the organisation.
  • Contribute to compliance audits, corruption risk assessments, and the annual Anti-Corruption Accounting Control (ACAC) exercise.
  • Monitor compliance training participation and performance indicators, and support follow-up actions to improve completion rates.
  • Support periodic and annual compliance reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of KPIs and proper documentation.
  • Maintain secure and compliant archiving of due diligence and compliance documentation in line with company policies.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in regulatory frameworks, governance, and the energy sector.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders and deliver training or awareness sessions.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an interest in working with compliance tools and systems.
