Graduate Communications Associate
The HP Europe Communications team is seeking an enthusiastic graduate with creative ideas and a strong interest in working in an international, fast-paced environment. This role sits within the Northern Europe (NE) Communications team and supports the delivery of global communications campaigns, events, and locally driven initiatives across the region.
This is a unique entry-level opportunity within the communications function of a world‑leading technology company. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of communications activities, contribute meaningful input, and take ownership of defined projects, helping to support HP’s communications objectives across Northern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Own and deliver defined communications activities across selected Northern European countries as part of major regional campaigns, working closely with marketing teams and external agencies to support country communications managers.
Act as the primary Northern Europe contact for the reviews programme across all product lines, collaborating with local category teams, agencies, country communications managers, and global reviews teams to secure consistent and high‑quality product coverage across the region.
Lead external communications activity for 3D Printing, Large Format, and Industrial Printing in Northern Europe, coordinating planning and execution in alignment with local stakeholders and global communications teams.
Support the Northern Europe Communications Lead in the planning and execution of the regional communications strategy, including preparing briefing documents, presentations, and management decision materials.
Align with the Northern Europe Communications Lead on reporting frameworks that meet both global and regional requirements, supporting local communications managers and overseeing agency reporting activity.
Provide hands-on support to local communications managers for campaigns and events, including logistics coordination and preparation of briefing materials.
Drive a consistent LinkedIn communications programme for selected Northern Europe leaders.
Key Requirements for this graduate role
This role is a permanent graduate position reporting directly into the NE communications lead.
The role requires basic practical experience in media relations, knowledge of the media landscape and the requirements of and working with media contacts, driving media activities, combined with strong communication and organizational skills.
The role is designed for a graduate with a university degree. (Bachelor or Master)
You will be working in a Pan-European team, onsite at HP’s Reading headquarters (with occasional additional travel as required). Hybrid working with three days in the office as standard.

Strong written/oral communication skills and analytical, with high degree of personal credibility and professionalism
Strong PC skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint), combined with a high level of curiosity and willingness to experiment with modern AI-based tools to continuously improve and streamline communications processes.
Excellent knowledge of the English language required; Intermediate/workplace proficiency of the German would be highly beneficial, although not necessary
