Applications are now open for Seymour Whyte's 2027 Graduate Program, offering opportunities across Southeast Queensland, for ambitious engineering graduates looking to make an impact from day one.
Through our structured two-year development program, you'll gain hands-on experience on major civil infrastructure projects, work alongside industry leaders, receive dedicated mentoring, and develop the technical, commercial and leadership skills needed for a successful career in construction.
At Seymour Whyte you'll commence on a live project and be given meaningful responsibility from the outset, contributing to the delivery of major infrastructure projects while learning from some of the industry's most experienced professionals.
About the project
We have an opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to commence on our Youngs Crossing Upgrade.
This project is a significant civil infrastructure project enhancing connectivity and resilience across the Moreton Bay region. The project includes over one kilometre of upgraded roadworks, the construction of a new 200-metre flood-resilient bridge over the North Pine River, retaining walls, a signalised intersection, utility upgrades, and noise barriers.
Designed to improve safety, reduce flood impacts, and enhance traffic efficiency, this landmark project offers graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of civil construction activities while contributing to infrastructure that will benefit the community for years to come.
Why Join Seymour Whyte?
Our Graduate Development Program combines practical project experience, formal learning, mentoring and professional development to accelerate your growth.
