The Graduate Assistant for Dual Enrollment is an on-site student employment position that supports the growth and success of Cedarville University's Dual Enrollment Department and Christian School Partnership (CSP) program. This position provides administrative, communication, advising, and customer service support to dual enrollment students, parents, school partners, and prospective partner schools while contributing to the mission and goals of Enrollment Management.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a commitment to serving students and school partners with professionalism and excellence.
This is a non-exempt graduate assistant position limited to a maximum of 990 working hours per academic year in accordance with university employment guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
• Strives to reflect the Enrollment Management core values: Love for God, Love for Others, Excellence in Effort, and Integrity in Conduct. Will offer ongoing support to develop a culture that emphasizes these values.
• Help manage the Dual Enrollment online students at Christian School Partnership schools. This includes:
◦ Responding to inquiries about Dual Enrollment classes
◦ Providing links, guidelines, and other information to the students and parents
◦ Helping collect CCP Funding letters from Ohio Students
◦ Advising the students on what classes might be best for them
◦ Setting up video or phone calls with the student and parent when necessary
• Following and understanding the rules of FERPA. This includes:
◦ What information can be shared with parents
◦ Respecting the student's right to privacy
• Traveling to represent the Dual Enrollment Department at CCP Nights at Ohio High Schools
• Collaborating with the Assistant Director of Christian School Partnerships on registering CSP students at the beginning of each term
• Collaborating with the Assistant Director of Christian School Partnerships on a communication plan for our CSP. This includes:
◦ Information on deadlines for registration and CCP Funding
◦ Important information to be sent to CSP facilitators about important dates and best practices
◦ Important information to be sent to the main CSP contacts about Add/Drop deadlines, registration, and other various information
• Collaborating with the Assistant Director of Christian School Partnerships on the Quarterly Newsletter to CSP schools
• Responding and helping with the Dual Enrollment inbox year round.
• Administrative duties as determined by the Executive Director of Dual Enrollment.
• All other duties assigned by the Executive Director of Dual Enrollment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Pay acute attention to detail
• Show integrity in dealing with confidential information
• Excellent time management skills

REQUIRED MENTAL/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to receive detailed information and exchange ideas through oral communication
• Have knowledge of and ability to use word processing and e-mail computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be able to attend to details and deadlines
• Must be able to drive school cars/vans
• Must be able to lift objects of 25 pounds

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS:
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
• Periodic interactions with inclement weather due to the nature of the position
