Purpose

Career Success is launching alearning management system that includesAI-poweredsupportto streamline the delivery and scaling of career support resources for staff, employers,faculty, and students We are seeking a graduate assistant with an interest in careercoaching, careerlearning,AI systems,generative AI agents, content management, anduser experience toassistin building andmaintainingAIagents and content. Theusecases to be developedwill be built in(1) SharePoint with CopilotStudio,(2) Open AI,and/or(3)Claudedepending on the application.Content management,taggingand permissions will need to be developed along withsupporting tools and documentation.This role supports strategic data, content, andtrainingaimed at improving howcareer championsaccess and use information to empower student career development.

The position reports to theAssociate Director of Career Excellence& Innovationand will work closely with colleagues across Career Success units and campus partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design,build, andmaintaina structured SharePoint site to house dynamic resources, templates, toolkits, and workflows for the Career Success team; develop content architecture using tagging and permissions

  • Developknowledge basesandAIagentsbased on a prioritized set of use cases

  • Test agents and refine as necessary to increase accuracy

  • Leverage a human-centered design approach by organizing testing by end-users to make sure user needs are met; this might include speaking with staff and/or students

  • Collaborate with team members to draft training guides, toolkits, and project documentation

  • Support change management communications and training for end users (e.g., career coaches, student staff, campus stakeholders, students)

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants mustbe advanced degree candidates in good academic standing whoareenrolled in at least6credit hoursduringFall2026

  • Strong interestor experience in knowledge management systems(i.e., SharePoint,Canvas, Confluence)and use of AI Agents (Copilot,Open AI, Claude)

  • Technologicalproficiencyand comfort with building digital tools, resources, or dashboards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical thinking and ability to translate needs into structured systems or documentation

  • Ability to research and summarize findings

  • Demonstrated initiative, punctuality, and follow-through skills, as well as an ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint development, metadata tagging,andcontent organization strategies

  • Experience building and testing AI agents withapplication in education or career services

  • Familiarity with user-centered design

  • Familiarity with coaching for career enhancement

  • Experience working with large teams or institutional departments on cross-functional initiatives

Salary Range

$20.00 per hour

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid of on-campus and remote work

  • 10-19 hours per week

  • Potential for continuation into Spring 2026, based on performance and staffing needs.
