The Retail Development Graduate Analyst will participate in a structured rotational program across Retail Operations, Network Fundamentals, and Market Development & Retail Strategy within the Audi Network Development team. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Audi’s U.S. dealer network strategy, operations, and performance. The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and dealership partners to support data analysis, process optimization, and strategic decision-making that drive network excellence and enhance the customer retail experience.

Possible Tasks within this Role

Rotation 1

Retail Operations:

This rotation focuses on dealership performance, data analysis, and operational excellence. The analyst will learn how Audi evaluates dealership success and uses performance data to support business growth and strategic alignment across the network..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Tableau dashboards and performance reports to visualize dealer performance metrics.
  • Analyze dealership data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvement areas.
  • Support ongoing dealer performance projects, including performance scorecard creation and enhancement.
  • Assist with the development of process documentation and reporting templates for network evaluation.
  • Collaborate with regional and national teams to align dealer performance insights with strategic priorities.

Rotation 2

Network Fundamentals:

This rotation offers hands-on experience with dealer compliance, contractual obligations, and operational standards. The analyst will gain insight into the legal, procedural, and strategic frameworks that govern OEM–dealer relationships and ensure a strong retail foundation for the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply Audi’s Network Development Policies & Procedures to monitor dealer compliance.
  • Support the processing of Dealer Agreement Updates and other franchise documentation.
  • Evaluate and track dealership standards to ensure adherence to Audi’s brand and operational expectations.
  • Maintain and update internal policy documentation and compliance records.
  • Assist in drafting internal and external communications for the Network Development department.

Rotation 3

Market Development & Retail Strategy:

This rotation focuses on market analysis, retail footprint strategy, and long-term network planning. The analyst will learn how Audi evaluates market opportunities and develops strategies to optimize retail presence and brand performance..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market studies to evaluate regional performance and identify opportunities for network adjustments.
  • Analyze market data to inform retail strategy decisions and recommend footprint optimizations.
  • Support the development and tracking of the Retail Strategy Action Plans for upcoming years.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new market requests and dealership proposals.
  • Assist in creating presentations and business cases to support leadership decision-making.

Qualification requirements

Preferred Degree

Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Business Intelligence, or related field.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning in a dynamic business environment.

Specialized Skills

  • Data visualization and dashboard development (Tableau experience preferred)
  • Data validation, pipeline construction, and business case development.
  • Process mapping and structured problem-solving.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with strong presentation skills.
