With continued growth and exciting projects across Victoria, we’re seeking a Graduate Accountant to join our team at our Geelong Head Office.

The Role

As our new Graduate Accountant, you’ll support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and contributing to smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you’ll gain exposure across all areas of the finance function and develop the foundation needed for a long-term career in accounting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with month-end tasks including journals, reconciliations, and data entry
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Helping maintain accurate project cost data across job sites and business units
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and summaries
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities through data collection and analysis
• Assisting with compliance tasks such as BAS preparation, payroll support, and record management
• Helping to maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting
• Providing general administrative and finance support as needed

About You

• Recently completed or currently completing a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• A desire to pursue CA or CPA qualifications in the future (highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Confident using Excel and open to learning new finance systems
• Comfortable working with numbers, problem-solving, and asking questions
• Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks
• A clear communicator who can work collaboratively with operational and office-based teams
• Any previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments (even through placement or part-time work) is beneficial but not essential
