About the Role:

This position will report directly to our Financial Controller and have support from the wider finance team. Initially, you will be responsible for end of month/year processing and journals, balance sheet reconciliations, BAS reporting and accounts payable support, whilst providing general support to the finance team. As a graduate you will gain exposure to all functions of accounting throughout your career including:

• Balance Sheet integrity and reconciliations
• BAS and other tax returns (income tax, FBT, payroll tax)
• Statutory financial reporting and analysis
• Management reporting and analysis on projects
• Banking and accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Payroll
• Site administration
• General finance project work

About You:

To be considered for this role you will possess strong communication and analytical skills coupled with a desire to learn and grow within our business. Self-motivated and a problem solver, you will be able to work to deadlines and enjoy taking ownership of your work.

Key skills and attributes we are seeking:

• Recently completed Accounting degree
• Motivated to work towards acquiring your CA/CPA Studies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to Accounting software highly desirable
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity
• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
